Mann vs Machine - Expectations vs Reality

Description

yeaaah...this new update was next to NOTHING like what anyone was shown or expected.
To clarify:
What was shown to us by Valve through the storyline and trailers:
RED and BLU join forces in groups of six to fight off the grey robot hordes made by Gray Mann, fighting together to defend Mann Co and their jobs. The robots were all shown as blue-lighted, metallic grey things that were clearly awesome.

What Valve GAVE us:
RED and only RED fights off a horde of robots which are all coloured BLU, making this your average RED vs BLU battle with no real feeling of cooperation and COMPLETE disregard to the story that had been built up. Additionally PLAYING it is almost impossible because you'll be stuck in a queue with an estimated time that is so indecisive it's probably the estimated wait time until Half life 3 comes out. Additionally, one would think you'd get some special items dropping now and then, or get something for being around for the update. NOPE. Instead, if you want ANY loot, you must buy a ticket that will only be consumed and give you loot once you win in a 'mission' (one co op course). And, you only get ONE item per ticket. You want anything esle? Buy a different type of ticket!

Meanwhile at Valve...Gaben is swimming in money naked.

what might have been better is that only pay to play members get loot, and buying tickets would give you more loot. plus the only reason they didn't do red and blu together is that there was too much friendly fire which doesn't seem like something too hard to fix
